We managed to catch up with John Robertson. John has been a part of the club since the 1960s, he was around when the club amalgamated and when it was part of the athletic club and then a stand alone Rugby club. We chat about the Rugby club in the 60s, what it looked like and what it's been like seeing all of the change. John to this day still supports the club and watches the 1st XV every Saturday, home or away regardless of the weather. A thoroughly enjoyable chat. John text me after the chat to say that he forgot to mention the Marmalade Concert, the wee happy bus trips through to the Cup Finals and Gavin McGregor's jumble sales, but that these were very fond memories of his which he would like to give recognition to.
